Jörg Rheinländer has been a member of the Board of Management of the HUK-COBURG Insurance Group since July 2017, responsible for car insurance and liability/accident/property insurance. He was previously Chief Representative in this department from October 2013.
From 2008 to 2015, he headed the composite actuarial department of the HUK-COBURG insurance group.
He was also head of the motor vehicle operations department from 2010 to 2011.
Jörg Rheinländer joined the HUK-COBURG insurance group in 1999 as a mathematician in the composite actuarial department.
Born in Tübingen in 1969, he graduated from the University of Göttingen with a degree in physics and a doctorate in mathematics. This was followed by assistant positions at the Institute for Mathematical Stochastics in Göttingen and at the Institute for Theoretical Physics at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg.
