Geboren am 11. Februar 1963 in Berlin, verheiratet und drei Kinder.
Der Kfz-Meister Karsten Schulze ist in Berlin geboren, leitete fast 30 Jahre ein mittelständisches Omnibus- und Reiseunternehmen und ist mit kurzer Unterbrechung seit 1982 ADAC Mitglied. Er war u.a. ehrenamtliches Mitglied im Präsidium und der Vollversammlung der IHK Berlin und dem DIHK, war Mitglied des Mittelstandsbeirats des Bundeswirtschaftsministeriums, war im Bundesverband Deutscher Omnibusunternehmer e.V. tätig und ist aktuell Beiratsmitglied der BVG ÄöR sowie Vorstand Technik des ADAC Berlin-Brandenburg e.V.
Seit 2019 ist Karsten Schulze Technikpräsident des ADAC e.V. In seinem präsidialen Ehrenamt liegt ihm die bezahlbare und sichere Mobilität für alle, der faire Umgang mit unseren Daten und eine klimawirksame Lösung für Verbrennungsmotoren besonders am Herzen: Damit wir auch morgen noch in einer intakten Umwelt mit gutem Gewissen Auto fahren können.

Karsten Schulze, a master mechanic, was born in Berlin, managed a medium-sized bus and travel company for almost 30 years and has been a member of ADAC since 1982, with a brief interruption. Among other things, he was an honorary member of the presidium and the general assembly of the Berlin Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the DIHK, was a member of the SME advisory board of the Federal Ministry of Economics, was active in the Federal Association of German Bus Operators e.V. and is currently a member of the advisory board of BVG ÄöR and Board Member for technology of ADAC Berlin-Brandenburg e.V..
Karsten Schulze has been the Technical President of ADAC e.V. since 2019. In his presidential honorary office, he is particularly concerned with affordable and safe mobility for all, fair handling of our data, and a climate-friendly solution for combustion engines: so that we can still drive cars with a clear conscience in an intact environment tomorrow.
