Volker Grüntges is a Senior Partner in McKinsey's Munich office, from where he leads consulting for automotive manufacturers worldwide. Nearly 600 consultants work in this area. Volker Grüntges advises leading automakers on strategic and transformational issues. Grüntges joined McKinsey in 1998 and advises clients in all core regions from North and South America to China, India and ASEAN.
Volker Grüntges studied mechanical engineering and business administration at the RWTH in Aachen and has worked at the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology.
